Dear colleagues, dear Models!
Almost two year now I am dealing with people photography.
For practice I am using TFP-Shootings for preparing myself for bookings.
But even though I am becoming better every single time (at least that is what the outside is telling me) and I was eager to look more carefully to my actions ... many of the results just came along because of passion and sweat but without knowing for sure why the one pose was working and the other wasn´t!
But therefore you have this (from my point of view) perfect book: Picture Perfect Posing:Practicing the Art of Posing for Photographers and Models
It is describing you how what is looking to the audience and why. It is not about to reinvent the wheel again it is just telling you what you need to look for when it comes to your models, to your customers! And from where am I standing the photographer is in charge of the person looking good in front of the camera or not!
And therefore this book is perfect! For me it is like a cooking book which is giving the photographer (and the interested model for that matter) some pretty good recipies!
Who of you guys are familiar with this book and what is your thought about it?
